Victoria Golf Course:
Just 40 minutes drive away to the east of Kandy is the Victoria golfing and country resort, which is famous for its stunningly designed golf course. Nuwara Eliya Golf Club:
This 18 hole golf course is one of the oldest courses found in Sri Lanka and is often quoted as one of Asia’s finest. The course is rather hilly and at least 6 holes involve water. Therefore, it poses a challenge to even the finest golfers out there. The combination of the cool British atmosphere, the scenic surroundings and the friendly Sri Lankan charm in the helpful and pleasant caddies makes this the ideal place for a game of golf. |

Royal Colombo Golf Club:
Built in 1879, Royal Colombo Golf Club is situated at the heart of Colombo and was only the second club in the world to receive the royal charter. The course rewards both strategic defensive golf and long hitting. The fairways are inviting but unless you’re accurate off the tee, huge trees and other obstacles will hinder your second shot. If the monstrous trees are not enough, the course also entertains 13 well placed water traps. From the very 1st hole, where a lake protects the green, water comes into play. Each hole on this course presents a different challenge, and the course is deceptively difficult. The course also offers a unique golfing experience. |
